If you have dry or itchy skin, chances are your skin is not properly moisturized, you are using some damaging chemical, and in essence your skin loses moisture as you age. So you are speeding up the aging process probably without even knowing it. So if you have itchy skin, just because it’s annoying, you should get rid of it, but for other reasons as well.
One of the easiest ways to do this is actually to use baking soda. Baking soda is well capable of giving you that healing element that your skin could use, and it can be used in a bath, a mask for your face, or otherwise. Oatmeal is another famous one. Oatmeal baths are good, and frankly there are a lot of products that have been around for 50 years or more that still use oatmeal to relieve dry, itchy, and irritated skin.
Lemons can be surprisingly good with all their antioxidants and vitamins, and of course if you really just need moisturization, shea butter serves as an excellent moisturizer that helps you to achieve better results in general. it just depends on why your skin is itching among other things as far as what results you are trying to get.
