Dermitage Review
Dermitage presents an entire line of products, all aimed at treating, reducing, and preventing your wrinkles and other visible signs of aging. They claim it will regenerate your skin’s natural stores of collagen to give you a more youthful appearance. They rely largely on ingredients such as antioxidants to fight and protect against free radical damage and aloe vera to soothe tired and overworked skin. But none of those types of ingredients actually promote collagen growth.

Ingredients and Mechanism of Action:
Dermitage ingredients include Water, PEG?12 Glyceryl Distearate, Cyclopentasiloxane, PEG?100 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Caprylyl Methicone, Cyclomethicone, Hydrogenated Coco Glycerides, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Hyaluronic Acid, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Camellia oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Camellia sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, Laminaria digitata (Algae) Extract, Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Yeast) Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, PEG?23 Glyceryl Distearate, Glucosamine HCl, Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate, Urea, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Atelocollagen, 1,2?Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol.
If you notice, they didn’t mention any wrinkle fighters such as peptides, because they are not there. They have some great antioxidants and moisturizers, but nothing that would make your skin look any younger or get rid of even fine lines. Essentially, if you bought it for about $9-$10 at your grocery store as a moisturizer and not a wrinkle fighter of any kind, you would be fine. But as a wrinkle fighter, you would be sorely disappointed.
Overall Impression of Dermitage:
Dermitage is another product that goes about 1/4 of the way and then stops. Antioxidants are good. They can compliment a really great wrinkle cream already filled with peptides, DMAE, and other wrinkle fighters. But they are to be used to compliment wrinkle fighters, not the other way around. Dermitage has apparently forgotten that element.
