Elemis was originally created in 1989 by a British brand of general skin care products. They claim to be defined by nature, led by science, and a personalized lifestyle prescription. They are completely free of animal bi-products as well as chemicals that could damage the skin such as synthetic perfumes and alcohols. One of the first ingredients is propylene glycol, an industrial chemical which can bleach clothes and really damage the skin. They have some moisturizers, but quite a few preservatives and other harmful chemicals such as titanium dioxide. They promise to be a wrinkle cream that will lift and tighten the skin, but they don’t provide ingredients that would come through.

Overall Impression of Elemis:

Elemis produces some bottles that look nice. But you are paying for the bottles and to pad their pocket books. There is nothing special in the formula, and they make blatantly false claims, not just about its wrinkle capabilities, but about what their formula will not do, such as irritating the skin. The Elemis formula will not get rid of your wrinkles, it will only damage your skin.
