What is Cynergy?

Cynergy is meant to be used following a procedure such as a chemical peel, face lift, dermabrasion, or laser treatment. Apparently, it's supposed to reduce your recovery time, but does not actually fight wrinkles and aging in and of itself. They force you to purchase the cleanser, take home peel treatment, Rx peel treatment, herbal mask, soothing aloe hydrogel, skin lightening, quicksmart, and skin treatment. But either way, these products can only be found in pharmacies.

Price:Varies

Ingredients and Mechanism of Action:

Cynergy ingredients include salicylic acid, glycolic acid, green tea, natural botanicals, hyaluronic acid, vitamins K, A, E, F, and grape seed extract. They did say it, Cynergy is only meant to supplement serious procedures rather than promoting wrinkle care in and of itself. Cynergy's ingredients list is similar to that you may see in an acne wash for those with sensitive skin. Salicylic acid causes the skin to shed itself at an accelerated rate, and vitamins are vitamins, which comes to include grape seed and "natural botanicals." There is nothing particularly exciting about this product. But they don't provide a full ingredients list, which is interesting considering some fillers and preservatives can have some serious side effects to the skin.

Overall Impression of Cynergy:

If you are already paying whatever amount you paid for a surgical or otherwise expensive procedure, the last thing you need is another expensive kit of products to add on, especially if they won't provide full details and ensure a quicker healing process with your skin. You could probably find a water based moisturizer with some level of sunscreen that would provide the same kind of protection or even better protection for now sensitive skin, and it would cost a lot less.
