Revitalume Review
Very few eye creams contain peptides—the key in wrinkle reduction—but Revitalume is one of he few. Revitalume claims to reduce puffiness, strengthen the walls of capillaries, improve skin’s quality and texture, and help fade the discolorations of dark circles.
Using the basic science of bruising and visible blood vessels, Revitalume created a product that could potentially knock all others off the map.
Ingredients and Mechanism of Action:
Using compounds to complete different takes, Revitalume is able to moisturize as well as rejuvenate. Hesperidin methyl chalcone is an important element of Revitalume for its ability to diminish the visibility of leaking capillaries and prevent future dark circle formations. Chrysin is in charge of reducing swelling, while cucumber extract reduces inflammation.
Green tea, shea butter, and vitamins A, C, and E work together to hydrate, improve, and heal the delicate skin. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3 and palmitoyl oligopeptide are the peptides required to increase collagen production. During this process collagen grows and creates new, thicker layers of tissue to cover visible blood vessels.
Other ingredients include hydrolyzed wheat protein, algae extract, cacoa seed butter, grapefruit seed extract, licorice root extract, mango butter, glycerin, stearic acid, aloe vera gel, sesame seed oil, bearberry leaf extract, coconut oil, water, and many others.
Overall Impression of Revitalume
Revitalume has the potential to be a great product with shocking results; however these results are not shown in scientific evidence or clinical trial. Without clinical trial there is no true indication that Revitalume actually builds collagen and reduces wrinkles. Just looking at the ingredients shows that Revitalume is a moisturizer, but there is no backing for its other claims.
Revitalume is also cited to show results in as little as a few hours. This is an exaggeration as results normally do not form for several days and up to thirty days. The science behind Revitalume’s explanation is quite simple to understand, but the jury is still out for whether or not the product actually provides the results it claims.
